Regina B. Grantham Scholarship in Communication Disorders and Sciences

The Regina B. Grantham Scholarship in Communication Disorders and Sciences was established by gifts from faculty, emeriti and former students to honor the retirement of Regina B. Grantham, Associate Professor in the Communication Disorders and Sciences Department. Awards will be made annually to student(s) enrolled in any major within the Communication Disorders and Sciences Department with a minimum 2.5 grade point average and demonstrated financial need.
Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.

Selection Criteria

  • For full-time matriculating undergraduate student(s) enrolled in any major within the Communication Disorders and Sciences Department.
  • Recipient(s) must be a sophomore, junior, or senior student with a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
  • Recipient(s) must submit an additional short essay (approximately 500 words) discussing the importance of cultural and linguistic humility and how they would incorporate these practices into their professional goals.
  • Enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester)
  • Student must have at least one full academic year remaining at the start of the fall semester of award year

  • Demonstrated financial need per FAFSA
