James Kradyna Memorial Scholarship
The James Kradyna Memorial Scholarship was created by his father, Adam Kradyna. These offerings were established to honor James for his many years of service to the Brauer Geological Field Station and the students of the SUNY Cortland Geology Department. Recipients will be incoming students majoring in Geology or Environmental Geoscience majors with satisfactory academic achievement. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.
Selection Criteria
- Awarded to a full-time matriculated incoming student at SUNY Cortland
- Recipients must have satisfactory academic achievement.
- Recipients must be enrolled in the Geology or Environmental Geoscience Major
- Must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester)
Renewal Information - may be renewable, renewals are dependent on available funding as provided by the Cortland College Foundation
- matriculated at SUNY Cortland
- enrolled as a Geology or Environmental Geoscience major
- enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester)
- maintain satisfactory academic progress per SUNY Cortland’s published Federal Good Academic Standing guidelines
- this scholarship is renewable for a maximum of four academic years (eight academic semesters, excluding summer semesters).
Scholarship funding is determined by the Cortland College Foundation. Scholarship amounts and availability are subject to change.
