T. Fred Holloway Scholarship

This award goes to one male and one female second semester seniors in physical education. Recipients must have attended Cortland for at least 5 semesters with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Minimum record of 2.5 years of service to the physical education department teaching program or a community program. Service must be voluntary (not for credit) and student cannot be reimbursed. Personal characteristics of leadership, diligence, honesty and fairness.

Selection Criteria

• awarded to a matriculated second semester senior level student in good academic standing at SUNY Cortland
• enrolled in physical education
• with a minimum 2.5 GPA
• have attended Cortland for at least 5 semesters
• minimum record of 2.5 years of voluntary service to the physical education department teaching program or a community program (not for credit nor reimbursed)
• personal characteristics of leadership, diligence, honesty and fairness.
• enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester)

Renewal Information

• This scholarship is a one-time award and is non-renewable

Scholarship funding is determined by the Cortland College Foundation. Scholarship amounts and availability are subject to change.
