Robert Vinal '71 Sponsored Scholarship in Memory of William Rogers
The Robert Vinal ‘71 Sponsored Scholarship in Memory of William Rogers was established by Robert Vinal in memory of his favorite professor and Chair of SUNY Cortland’s Political Science Department, William Rogers at SUNY Cortland. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.
Selection Criteria:
- Recipient(s) must be enrolled within any major under the Political Science Department.
- Recipient(s) must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
- Recipient(s) must be a matriculated returning sophomore, junior or senior level student in good academic standing at SUNY Cortland.
- Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester).
- Recipient(s) must have at least one full academic year remaining at the start of the fall semester of award year.
Preference
- Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated financial need per FAFSA.
Renewability
- This scholarship is non-renewable and awarded for one year. Students are eligible to apply each year.
Scholarship funding is determined by the Cortland College Foundation. Scholarship amounts and availability are subject to change.
