SUNY Cortland Honors Program
Membership in SUNY Cortland’s Honors Program brings many benefits, including a $2,000 annual scholarship for up to four years. Students must be invited to join or apply.
Merit Scholarship recipients may apply by answering any two of the four supplemental questions listed below.
Scholarships are funded by the Cortland College Foundation and funding is based on availability. This award is available for the fall and spring semesters. Applicants can visit cortland.edu/honors to learn more about the Honors Program.
Selection criteria:
- students must be invited to join or apply
- awarded to high-achieving entering freshmen
Renewal information:
- full-time attendance
- matriculated at SUNY Cortland
- maintain good standing in the Honors Program
- cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher
- maximum of $8,000 ($1,000 per semester for eight semesters)
