Joan Lombardi Peck ’56 and Alexander Norman Peck ’57 Scholarship

The Joan Lombardi Peck ’56 and Alexander Norman Peck ’57 Scholarship was established in memory of Joan’s parents, Salvatore and Tillie Lombardi. Joan and Norm met at Cortland and enjoyed careers as physical educators in Westchester County, NY. Awards will be made annually to student(s) enrolled as physical education majors with satisfactory academic achievement and a preference for demonstrated financial need. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.

Selection Criteria:

• For full-time matriculating students enrolled as physical education majors.
• Recipient(s) must be a sophomore, junior or senior level student.
• Recipient(s) must have satisfactory academic achievement.
• Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time (at least twelve (12) credit hours each fall and spring semester).
• Recipient(s) must have at least one full academic year remaining at the start of the fall semester of award year.
