Nancy S. Manning '70, M '74 Scholarship
The Nancy S. Manning ’70, M ’74 Scholarship was established by herself in recognition of family roots in the City of Cortland and in gratitude for her educational experience at SUNY Cortland. As a former non-traditional student, it is important to Nancy that the scholarship encourages a student enrolled either full-time or part-time, majoring in Health Education and who may be attracted to a teaching career in that field upon graduation. Recipients must have satisfactory academic achievement. Demonstrated unmet financial need and non-traditional student status will be preferences. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.
Selection Criteria
- For full-time or part-time (minimum of six credit hours) students enrolled in Health Education major, pursuing a career in teaching.
- Recipient(s) must be a continuing undergraduate student or an incoming or continuing graduate student in good academic standing.
- Student must have at least one full academic year remaining at the start of the fall semester of award year.
Preference - Non-traditional students

Renewability - This scholarship is non-renewable. Students must apply each year.
