Rosemary Walters '58 Scholarship for Education Majors (Birth-6th Grade)

Established by Rosemary Walters ’58 in honor of the education she received at SUNY Cortland. This scholarship was created to give SUNY Cortland students the opportunity of a quality education. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.

Selection Criteria

• awarded to a matriculated sophomore, junior or senior level student in good academic standing at SUNY Cortland
• is majoring in Early Childhood Education Major or Childhood Education Major (Birth-6th grade)
• enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester)
• has demonstrated financial need per FAFSA

Renewal Information

• This scholarship is a one-time award and is non-renewable. Students are eligible to apply each year.

Scholarship funding is determined by the Cortland College Foundation. Scholarship amounts and availability are subject to change.
