Phyllis McGinley M ’68 Scholarship
The Phyllis McGinley M ’68 Scholarship was established by former students, friends and family of Phyllis McGinley. As the associate professor emerita of physical education, Phyllis had an unwavering attention and care for her students and for education. She served as a faculty member from 1962-1992 and acting chair of the former Women’s Physical Education Department from 1981-1983. After a brief time away, Phyllis returned to Cortland as an associate professor emerita and lecturer emerita in the Physical Education Department from 2003-2005.
