Robert Lemere '84 Scholarship

The Robert Lemere ’84 Scholarship was established by Robert to provide financial support to SUNY Cortland students as they prepare to launch their professional careers. After a distinguished career as a physical education teacher from 1984 until his retirement in 2023, and 24 years as a dedicated football coach, Robert was inspired to help the next generation of graduates overcome financial challenges. This scholarship reflects his deep gratitude to the Cortland community that helped shape his own journey. A former three-year football player at Cortland, Robert hopes to encourage and support students who are passionate about making a difference, regardless of their chosen field.
