John L. Fauth Award for Professional Promise

Presented to a student majoring in a Geology Department program who, in addition to a demonstrated high-level of academic achievement, shows exceptional professional promise and has made outstanding contributions to the educational, academic or service objectives of the department and profession.

Selection Criteria

• For full-time matriculating undergraduate students enrolled in any major in the geology department.
• Recipient(s) must be a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior level student.
• Recipient(s) must demonstrate exceptional professional promise.
• Recipient(s) must demonstrate outstanding contributions to the educational, academic or service objectives of the department and profession.
• Recipient(s) must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
