Christine Perry ’74 and Richard A. Cecconi ’74, M ’87, C.A.S. ’93 Scholarship

The Christine Perry ’74 and Richard A. Cecconi ’74, M ’87, C.A.S. ’93 Scholarship was established in recognition of the excellent foundation SUNY Cortland provided for their careers. Richard was a highly regarded science educator and coach for over 33 years while Chris was a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist and clinical educator. Awards will be made annually to students enrolled in any major within the School of Professional Studies or pursuing a career in education. Recipients must have satisfactory academic achievement. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated financial need. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.

Selection Criteria

• For full-time matriculating student(s) enrolled in any major within the School of Professional Studies or pursuing a career in education.
• Recipient(s) must be a sophomore, junior or senior level student.
• Recipient(s) must have satisfactory academic achievement.

Preference

• Demonstrated financial need per FAFSA.

Scholarship funding is determined by the Cortland College Foundation. Scholarship amounts and availability are subject to change.
