Dolores A. "Dee" Bogard Award

The award is named in honor of Dolores “Dee” Bogard, the former associate athletic director at SUNY Cortland. It will be presented annually to a sport management junior or senior who exhibits outstanding service in the area of athletic event management at SUNY Cortland. The student must have demonstrated initiative and continuous active involvement in the Sport Management Club and leadership as an event manager or in a special event leadership capacity.

• To be eligible for this award, a student must:*

• Have completed at least 56.5 credit hours
• Be in good academic standing
• Be an active member of the Sport Management Club
• Have completed SPM Event Practicum Course
• Be serving as an event manager or in a special event leadership capacity

No application required. This is an award to be given to the highest performing student in the event practicum internship in the Sport Management major.
