Debra Kiederer '83 Scholarship

The Debra Kiederer ‘83 Scholarship honors the SUNY Cortland education that launched the donor’s career as an entrepreneurial leader in digital brand transformation. Debra serves on the Cortland College Foundation Board and is an advisor for the SUNY Cortland Entrepreneurship Center. Her professional work helps media, luxury and consumer brands leverage technology to transform their businesses. This scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in any major within the Communication and Media Studies Department with satisfactory academic achievement and a preference for demonstrated financial need. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.

Selection Criteria:

• For full-time matriculating students enrolled in any major within the Communication and Media Studies Department.
• Recipient(s) must be a continuing student.
• Recipient(s) must have satisfactory academic achievement.
• This scholarship is non-renewable. Students must apply each year.

Preference:

• Demonstrated Financial Need per FAFSA
