Donald S. Ames and Diane Ames Scholarship
Established by Donald and Diane’s daughters, Johanna Ames and Tanya Ames, in honor of their parents. The Ames family has a long-standing commitment to the Cortland community and SUNY Cortland. Award will be split evenly between the fall and spring semesters. Funding is based on availability.
Selection Criteria
- awarded to a matriculated sophomore, junior or senior level student in good academic standing at SUNY Cortland
- is a graduate of a high school in New York State
- enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester)
Preference
- is given to graduates of a Cortland County high school
- is given to students with demonstrated financial need per FAFSA
Renewal Information
- This scholarship is a one-time award and is non-renewable
Scholarship funding is determined by the Cortland College Foundation. Scholarship amounts and availability are subject to change.
